Kudos to the Jr. Justice League at the Lincolnwood Public Library! Students from grades 3 through 8 hosted a Bear Making Party for the Institute for Positive Mental Health (IPMH), promoting youth health & wellness.
The Junior Justice League works to enact and create change to improve their community with service learning projects. The collaboration with Institute for Positive Mental Health was the first service project promoting health by making Rescue Bears by hand. The project was launched to help youths and teens who are going through a difficult time to be hopeful, persevere through challenges and use their ideas and their hands to create bears that bring a smile and comfort to a child in need.
A big Thanks to youth & teen services librarian, Eti Berland, who welcomed the IPMH team, collected socks and supplies. Eti you are amazing!
